The Great Santini is without doubt the best Drama movie, a new standard. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. Director once again delivered us great piece of art. You just dive into the world made by the actors and Lewis John Carlino. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. This is a very memorable movie in every way. Movie of the century for me.
