This movie is not just a simple Drama film, it is truly unique film. A movie with zero weak scenes, zero weak moments. Pennies from Heaven is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. It is a sensational, tense movie from start to finish. I am a huge fan of Herbert Ross and this movie was his finest work last time. Artistry of actors are just magnificent, no actor gave us a weak performance. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Pennies from Heaven will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. Movie of the century for me.

The film follows Arthur Parker, a Depression-era sheet-music salesman with big dreams who seeks to escape his dreary life through popular music and a love affair with an innocent school teacher.
