I Shrunk the Family is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. It is a sensational, tense movie from start to finish. I am a huge fan of Tim Oliehoek and this movie was his finest work last time. Artistry of actors are just magnificent, no actor gave us a weak performance. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Help! I Shrunk the Family will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. Movie of the century for me.

The film tells the story of 9-year-old Johannes whose mother has recently passed away, father is preoccupied, and older sister has no time for him. Then one night, he befriends Wiplala, a little man with magical powers who lives in the kitchen cupboard, and unwittingly shrunk his family!!!
