This movie is not just a simple Action film, it is truly unique film. A movie with zero weak scenes, zero weak moments. Billy Bathgate is without doubt the best Action movie, a new standard. You do not need to like Action films to enjoy time spent on watching this film. I am a huge fan of Robert Benton and this movie was his finest work last time. All of the actors were worked very good, but my most liked one in this movie was Dustin Hoffman. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Billy Bathgate will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. Movie of the century for me.

In 1935, Bronx teenager Billy Behan quickly becomes a part of a criminal organization, growing close to Dutch's associate, Bo Weinberg. There, he finds first love, Bo's girlfriend and does anything to protect her.
